Nov 30th is Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday is almost like the unnoticed sibling in the midst of much bigger and attention seeking siblings. It is the Saturday after Black Friday and before Cyber Monday when the big retail stores all fight for the attention of the public by offering mark down prices for various reasons.

The goal of Small Business Saturday is to promote local businesses who help keep the grassroots moving. Businesses like the local bakery where you only get a particular kind of bread and is guaranteed fresh or the local craft store where everything is made by hand or the nail shop, the antique shop, the flower shop etc. With the pace of technology, some of these small businesses may have an online presence to keep up with the times but nonetheless they are still small businesses. So this Small Business Saturday for people living in the Southern California area, check out these small businesses to support.
