The Love Bracelet

A simple request came, “Hi Oyindoubara, I want a bracelet for my mum. I want it to have charms and be light pink”. Immediately, I knew what this bracelet represented. Love, Gratitude and Joy!

Light pink freshwater pearls to represent innocence and purity of the heart. A heart pure enough to love and express that love to a mother.

The charms, to represent a tool from her trade and the second just to say “I Love You”

That is the story of Love.

This piece is accompanied with the pearl poem,

“The Pearl, Who comes with summer to this earth
And owes to June her hour of birth
A pearl should wear against her skin
Who’s innocence many a heart shall win.”

I love this piece so much because of what it represents. The circle of love… It is a constant reminder to show a little love and be grateful for those in our lives
